It's quite a while since I've spent time writing. I went to St. Louis for the travel website convention. I learned a lot -- about the company, about myself, a new friend and one that has decided not to be my friend. Life goes on. I am working on building my business -- and I'm excited about helping others build their business too.
Dave went to Houston last Wed. for an event site visit. He was scheduled to fly home on Friday. I flew to Houston on Friday. We were both flying on Frontier, so he was in the terminal when I landed. What a treat to see him & get a kiss! I had taken the car to the airport, handed him the keys & told him where it was parked.
My time in Houston was spent "PattyCaking" -- working with my friend, Jean Thomason (aka Miss PattyCake). The large church hosted the event at three of their campuses: Relationship Rx. Miss PattyCake sang to the preschoolers & then Jean (dressed as Miss PattyCake) gave a seminar to parents. We were at the North Campus on Fri. night, the West Campus on Sat. morning and then did a full concert at the main campus on Sat. night. On Sun. morning, the husband of the children's pastor at a church in Kingwood, TX picked us up. Jean gave a concert to the preschoolers and then we went to the airport. Dave picked me up!
So, now we start another week. Life is an adventure and I'm grateful for the people who are willing to journey with me.
