On the road ... again

Dave & I left home yesterday & arrived in Scottsdale, AZ late this afternoon. Since there are LOTS of jobs this wkend, we had to drive our Toyota pickup with a 10-ft. utility trailer. Yeah, we won't be doing THAT again! We thought we could stay in Albuquerque. NOT! It's the Great (hot air) Balloon Festival!!! EVERYTHING was booked solid. So, we found a Holiday Inn Express (our favorite) in Grant, NM. When we went out to the pickup & trailer this morning, one of the tires on the trailer was flat. Thankfully, there was a repair place just across the street, so $25+ and 20 min. later we were on the road.

Changes are happening. I'm not sure what is on the other side of some of the changes -- which is scary. But, I'm learning to let go of the fear & move forward -- trying to anticipate the other side with excitement & not fear or dread.

Our little Cali turned 1 this week! What a precious blessing she is in our lives. We are working on teaching her not to bark when a noise startles her or someone comes to the door. It's a hard process, but we seem to be making a bit of progress.

Very tired & ready for bed.
