It's been a week since arriving at my folks' place in Columbia, SC. It's been a good visit. Besides taking a nap all but one day, I was able to spend time with family & did a few projects. I made two pot cosies -- one for a tea pot & one for a French press. I purchased the patterns (along with several others) from crochetroo on Etsy.com (http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=15626204). She has some fabulous patterns! Sometimes she posts them on her blog (crochetroo.blogspot.com). I bought the patterns! Mother really likes them -- & I think they turned out well.
I've enjoyed time with my nieces -- both are so different. The youngest, Evy (age 10), especially had fun playing with Cali.
Now it's time to pack up & get ready to go. Dave & Scott are loading the equipment that was left in Myrtle Beach after that done finished. They should be here (at the exit near my folks') about 12:30 this afternoon. Since Daddy is going golfing, my brother will drive me to the pick up spot. I've really missed Dave & anxious to get back on the road with him. And, it'll be nice to get home again!
