Good News / Bad News

Good news ~ I can drive a semi.
Bad news ~ I had to drive from Deer Trail, CO to Dayton, OH bec. Dave is sick (temp spiking @ 104*).

Good news ~ The Ohio interstate limit is 55 mph.
Bad news ~ I was clocked going 71.

Good news ~ I haven't had a ticket in over 25 years.
Bad news ~ The Ohio violation for going 71 in a 55 is $115.

Good news ~ No damage to our rig.
Bad news ~ The bumper, headlight & fender on the CW England truck will have to be replaced (Dave backed into it).

Good news ~ We made it safely to Washington, DC.
Bad news ~ No place to park the rig at the hotel.

Good news ~ Our crew of 3 are hard workers!
Bad news ~ Dave had to be kicked out of set up twice bec. he's still running a fever.

Good news ~ We made it safely thru downtown Washington, DC during rush hour traffic to the place we were told to park the rig.
Bad news ~ We can't park the rig there & had to go back to the hotel.

Good news ~ There is a place to park the rig at the hotel!
Bad news ~ It was a pain in the rear to get it parked!

Good news ~ CVS is only about 2 blocks from the hotel.
Bad news ~ They don't sell small coffee makers, but Rite Aid does.

Good news ~ It was a lovely day for a walk with Cali.
Bad news ~ Rite Aid was over a mile away, but they had a small coffee maker.

Good news ~ It's bed time.
Bad news ~ Dave is still sick. :-(
