It's HOT!

We're back from the Messianic Jewish conference in PA. It was a delightful time -- old friends & fellowship. I was very pleased that the subcontractor we hired to try out for my position is wonderful!!! All I had to do was pat him on the back & say, "Good job!" So, I'll be doing fewer & fewer jobs and more & more time with Dave (and Cali).

While we were gone, Emily made sure our new trees & bushes didn't die. What a blessing! And even the lawn is green. It's usually brown by the time we get home in July. A real treat.

So, now I need to get a few things sorted before the garage sale. But, I'm not too excited to do that since our weather has turned to the annual heat wave. It'll be nearly 100 today! Think I'll take it easy -- at least until it cools down. No need to break a sweat!

  1. I do check and read your blog at least once a week. I feel I have gotten to know you quicker through your blog and family e-mails. Your blog is more your thoughts about your world. The emails tend to be a different 'sound' rather than just sharing your feelings and thoughts. It would have taken much longer to know your heart since we don't live close and can't spend time together. I wonder too how many read my blog; probably you, Em and Molly. I will start to comment more so that you know that someone is reading.....OK!
