And so it goes ...

For many months, Dave & I have been in agony over a decision we had to make -- about our life and life's work. We made the decision last weekend, and then knew immediately that other decisions were to follow. The decisions were made, which caused more stress because we knew there would be confrontation with others because of our decisions. But immediately after making the first decision, we were at peace. Maybe you know that kind of peace -- the calm after the storm, the quiet after the noise, the still after the turmoil, the peace that passes all understanding. We knew with certainty that God had clearly directed.

As anticipated, there was confrontation. And, it's not over. We had to part ways before it was resolved -- pressing commitments to others forced us to leave it unfinished. We are to get together tomorrow (10 AM or 1 PM) to continue -- and hopefully -- get things taken care of.

If the Lord brings us to mind, will you pray that HIS will be done; that HE will be glorified; that He will use us as change-agents in this situation; that we will be willing to change as well. I'll be sure to let you know how He answers.
