I love Bugs Bunny!

I don't remember if I took my mental meds on Thurs. AM. If I did, they went right thru me (was having stomach problems all day). Thurs. night, I had nightmares all night. Kept trying to wake myself up -- telling myself I had to call 9-1-1 for help. I woke, finally, and was in a full blown panic attack. Cali had snuggled with me all night -- she knew I was having a rough night & just wouldn't leave my side at all. What a blessing that little one is.

I called Joe in to help me -- get my meds, a sleeping pill so I could go back to sleep, etc. I was supposed to pick Dave up at the airport, but asked Arthur to get someone from the office to pick him up. I turned on a Bugs Bunny DVD & went to sleep. I slept most of the day -- which was a good thing. The nightmares and panic attacks ended. Bec. Joe helped me, he missed his job interview in Littleton @ Sunflower Market. I'm praying they will call & reschedule. He did call them & explain why he missed it.

Giles & Emily were going to come for supper & I was supposed to help them address thank you envelopes. I wrote an email & told them what was going on -- they were still welcome to come, but I wouldn't be much use to them. They did come, but did other stuff.

I had asked Joe to take chicken thighs out of the freezer, but then told him to put them in the fridge & fix something quick for supper. He decided to grill them, plus fixed baked beans (OK, opened a can & heated them). He fixed enough to include Dave, Giles & Emily (Arthur was working). I had a bowl of cereal & watched Bugs Bunny.

After a hot bath & fresh pajamas, I went to bed -- with Bugs Bunny running. There's something about it that is soothing to me. Maybe it's bec. I loved it so much as a kid. I love "Rabbit Season" and "Pete Puma"! Also the ones with the big red, hairy monster. Anyway, I moved to the living room about 1:30 AM this morning -- Dave was snoring so loudly! Once again, Bugs Bunny was in the DVD player & I went right to sleep.

Today has been much better! I'm back to "normal". I was able to finish the purse I crocheted -- pink & brown felted. I lined it and put the finishing touches on it.

Tonight, I went to a Tastefully Simple party at my neighbor's. Fun, but too expensive. When I got home, Dave was in his chair & I asked how he's doing. Depressed, discouraged, tired ... I'm glad we aren't both in that state at the same time! He really needs help -- and time off.
